(UNDATED) - The Avalanche Food Group (AFG), owners of Twin Peaks restaurants in Indianapolis and Texas, will be brightening the holidays for 100 local military families tomorrow with the gift of a fresh-cut Christmas tree, complete with ornaments, lights, decorations, and a tree stand!

AFG is working with Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization that has been providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service members since 2007. Folds of Honor will be distributing 100 vouchers to Indianapolis military families to be redeemed at Tuesday's tree giveaway.

"Sharing these Christmas trees with our military heroes and their families has become a tradition for us," said Ricky Rosa, COO of Avalanche Food Group. "My brothers and I are always thinking of special ways to honor the men and women who sacrifice so much for our country. This is just one heartfelt way we can support and honor those who serve and their families, and help bring some Christmas joy into their homes this season."

AFG is giving away a total of 500 Christmas trees this season! In addition to Tuesday's giveaway in Indianapolis, they have given away 400 fresh Christmas trees and decorations to Wounded Warriors, the USO and Texas families over the last two weeks. This is the fourth consecutive year AFG has hosted Christmas tree giveaways in Indiana.

Founded in 2009 by the Rosa brothers, John, Joe and Ricky, AFG owns eight Twin Peaks locations in Texas and Indiana. The Rosa Brothers provide charitable contributions year-round to support America's Veterans, service-members and families by working with organizations like Folds of Honor and the Wounded Warriors Project, along with support for community causes in each of their restaurant locations.
