(INDIANAPOLIS) - WorkINdiana is celebrating 6,000 completions of the high school equivalency and the awarding of 5,000 industry certifications within the past five years.
The celebration will be from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. (Eastern) Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Indiana Statehouse North Atrium.
Indiana Department of Workforce Development Commissioner Fred Payne will give opening remarks and Marilyn Pitzulo, the associate chief operating officer of DWD's Adult Education program, will provide an overview of WorkIndiana.
Participants of WorkINdiana will give testimonials about their experience with the program.
