Gov. Holcomb Announces Judicial Appointment For Terre Haute City Court Vacancy

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Gov. Eric J. Holcomb announced Matthew A. Sheehan as his appointment to the Terre Haute City Court. Sheehan will succeed Chris A. Wrede, who resigned Aug. 9.

Sheehan, a lifelong resident of Terre Haute, is a private practitioner and previously served in the Vigo County Public Defender's Office.

Sheehan received a Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University and his law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Sheehan will be sworn in as the judge of the Terre Haute City Court on a date to be determined.
