Arts Commission Accepting Letters of Intent from Prospective Regional Arts Partner organizations

Last updated on Wednesday, November 7, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced today it is accepting letters of intent to apply from organizations interested in serving as IAC Regional Arts Partners. The deadline to submit a letter of intent is December 3, 2018.

Organizations desiring to receive funding to serve as a Regional Arts Partner in the Fiscal Year 2020 - 2023 must submit their letter of intent through the IAC's online system by 4:30 p.m. (EST) December 3, 2018.

Guidelines about the Regional Arts Partner application process can be found here.

Organizations must submit their formal proposals to become Regional Arts Partners through the IAC's online system by 4:30 p.m. (EST) February 5, 2019.

"The Regional Arts Partnership was designed to improve state service delivery to the arts community and citizens of Indiana by providing regional level decision making and access to grant funding and other statewide services," said Paige Sharp, IAC Director of Programs. "The Partnership enables the Arts Commission to extend its reach to more areas of the state, and gives the partner organization the opportunity to increase its own visibility and impact on a regional level."

The application review process is expected to begin in February 2019. Organizations will be evaluated on quality management and governance; grantmaking and constituent service; and regional and arts community involvement. Final approval of applications will be made at the Commission's March 15, 2019, Quarterly Business Meeting.

The application process will be open to existing IAC Regional Arts Partners as well as organizations new to the regional program.

Regional Arts Partner organizations selected through this open process will serve as a Regional Arts Partner for a four-year term, or two state budget cycles (FY21 through FY23).
