INDOT to Present Findings of North Split Alternatives Screening Report

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public open house to share the results of the I-65/I-70 North Split Interchange Project’s Alternatives Screening Report, including the preliminary preferred alternative.

The full report - which is a detailed compilation of the alternatives development and evaluation effort conducted as part of the federally-mandated environmental review process - is available at www.northsplit.com/alternatives-screening-report.

The open house is Wednesday, October 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Arsenal Technical High School (1500 E Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46202). The goal of the meeting is to describe the process of evaluating alternatives and the results of its analysis. Public comments on the alternatives screening report will be accepted through Monday, October 29.

The open house will include a formal presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Comments can be submitted during the meeting via a comment form or by recording comments with a court reporter. Written comments can be submitted between now and October 29 to info@northsplit.com or by mail to PO Box 44141 Indianapolis, IN 46244.

Accommodations for individuals requiring auxiliary aids or services such as interpreters, signers, readers or large print materials can be arranged per request. Individuals with such needs should contact Rickie Clark with INDOT's Office of Public Involvement at 317-232-6601 or rclark@indot.in.gov.
