(SPENCERVILLE) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle accident in Allen County.
At approximately 7 p.m., a 911 call was received advising of an off-road vehicle accident on Hurshtown Road, east of Cuba Rd.
An off-road vehicle was traveling west on Hurshtown Road when it left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
First responders arrived on scene and located two male victims - 18-year-old Paul Schmucker Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene and the other, a 17-year-old juvenile was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center via Lifeflight for treatment of his injuries.
Neither victim was wearing a helmet or any protective riding gear and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
Conservation Officers were assisted on-scene by the Allen County Sheriff's Department and Northeast Fire and EMS.
