Boy Dies In Hot Car

Last updated on Thursday, September 6, 2018

(DALEVILLE) - Tragically, a 2-year-old boy died in a hot car Wednesday in Daleville. Reports indicate that he was found inside a vehicle by 2 other children playing at an apartment complex.

Indiana ranks 27th in the nation based on the number of child hot car deaths with 11 fatalities since 1997. The Daleville toddler is the 3rd child to die in a hot car in Indiana this year.

KidsAndCars.org is working hard to make sure the HOT CARS Act of 2017 will be passed quickly so technology can be added to vehicles to help prevent these unthinkable fatalities
