Overnight Road Sensor Repairs Scheduled for I-69 on Monday

(HUNTINGTON CO.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces temporary lane restrictions planned for I-69 in Huntington County beginning overnight Monday, Aug. 27, weather permitting.

From 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., drivers should watch for stopped traffic and lane restrictions between mile marker 277-279. The lane restrictions will allow INDOT contractors to repair and replace sensors in the roadways. Contractors plan to restrict the southbound lanes overnight Monday, Aug. 27, followed by restrictions in the northbound lanes overnight Tuesday, Aug. 28. Work will continue through 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, weather permitting.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active construction zone.
