(JASPER) - Jasper police arrested two people in the death of a three-month-old infant.
Police arrested the baby's parents, 28-year-old Jordan Leinenback and 24-year-old Cassandra Potts, both of Jasper, on felony charges of neglect of a dependent resulting in death and reckless homicide.

According to police, a three-month-old unresponsive baby was brought to Memorial Hospital emergency room on July 30th. The infant was then flown to Norton's Children's Hospital in Louisville. The infant died on August 1 at about 7:54 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
