(SANTA CLAUS) - The world’s largest travel site - TripAdvisor.com - just announced the nation’s top water parks, and Holiday World’s Splashin’ Safari is on that list.
The 40-acre water park, among the largest in the world, was named the #5 park in the nation and #15 in the world, following only Florida parks in the U.S. rankings.
"For Splashin' Safari to be named among the nation's top water parks is a huge tribute to our Hosts and Hostesses," says park president Matt Eckert. "The votes for this TripAdvisor award came from our visitors, who were impressed with not only our fantastic line up of water rides, but also the friendliness of our staff and cleanliness of our grounds. Splashin' Safari is home to the world's two longest water coasters, Mammoth and Wildebeest, plus dozens of other water attractions, slides, and wave pools.
The review quoted on TripAdvisor's "Travelers' Choice Awards" webpage states the park makes it "easy to have fun." Holiday World & Splashin' Safari offer free soft drinks, sunscreen, parking, and use of inner tubes and Wi-Fi.
TripAdvisor's website states that the Travelers' Choice Award "is our highest recognition and is presented annually to the top 1% of businesses in select categories."
