Indiana GOP Chairman Praises Nomination Of Historic 2018 Statewide Ticket

Last updated on Sunday, June 10, 2018

(EVANSVILLE) - Following today’s nominations of Secretary of State Connie Lawson, Treasurer Kelly Mitchell and Auditor Tera Klutz as the Indiana Republican Party’s 2018 statewide ticket, Indiana GOP Chairman Kyle Hupfer released this statement:

"Hoosier Republicans continue to make Indiana history, whether that's through new records set in great government service, or through the phenomenal candidates we elect to office throughout the state. And Hoosiers couldn't have found three better candidates for statewide office than Secretary of State Connie Lawson, Treasurer Kelly Mitchell and Auditor Tera Klutz.

"Connie Lawson, Kelly Mitchell and Tera Klutz offer the trifecta for Hoosiers. They're delivering great government service -- making it easy to vote but hard to cheat, dramatically expanding the number of Hoosier families saving for college, increasing transparency and openness in state government and so much more. With these three, Hoosiers are getting proven leaders who are offering proven results.

"By putting forward an all-female ticket for just the second time in Indiana history, Indiana Republicans are providing Hoosier voters with the energy we need to continue moving this state forward. We simply cannot go back to the days of debt, dysfunction and out-of-control spending under the Democrats, and we must elect Connie Lawson, Kelly Mitchell and Tera Klutz this November."
