Prepare Now For The 2018 Nonprofit Security Grant Program

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The 2018 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) will be opening soon, and IDHS is providing the 2017 information to allow interested applicants to begin preparing for the upcoming application period.

This year, funds available to nonprofit organizations are not limited Urban Area Security Initiative, or UASI-designated urban areas. This will allow any eligible nonprofit organization within Indiana to apply in the upcoming grant round.

An eligible nonprofit organization under the FY 2018 NSGP is:

An organization described under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986; and
Determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security to be at high risk of terrorist attack due to their ideology, beliefs, or mission.
