Indiana Republican Party Chairman Welcomes President Donald Trump To Indiana

Last updated on Thursday, May 10, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Ahead of President Donald Trump’s visit to Indiana tonight for a rally in Elkhart, Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer released this statement:

"With a major statewide primary and a visit from the president and the vice president to officially launch a general election season that will determine the control of the U.S. Senate all in the same week, Indiana continues to be the political epicenter of the nation.

"On behalf of Hoosier Republicans, I'm excited to welcome President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence to Indiana. Hoosiers throughout Indiana are proud to stand with President Trump as he works to shake-up business as usual in Washington. And this week, Hoosiers picked Mike Braun as our nominee for U.S. Senate, the perfect ally to stand with President Trump in his mission to make this nation work for all Americans again.

"President Trump and Mike Braun have a lot in common -- they're both political outsiders, and they've both built their track records not in government, but in the private sector. Bringing this dream team together -- in Elkhart tonight, and in Washington next January -- will give Hoosiers an even stronger voice in our nation's capital."
