(PLAINFIELD) - Duke Energy has selected two individuals to serve as large business account executives for southern Indiana.

Jim Hunchman, who currently serves as a construction and maintenance specialist for the company, brings 24 years of customer service and engineering experience to his new position. He began his career at Cinergy/Public Service Indiana in Corydon, Ind., as an engineering service designer. He then went on to spend six years working as a power engineer for an electric cooperative in Fort Myers, Fla., before returning back home to Indiana.

"Jim's robust technical knowledge that spans both engineering and construction disciplines, combined with his many years of working directly with customers, will be a great asset to our large account management organization," said Kristie McKillip, Duke Energy director of large account management in Indiana.

Jim lives in Georgetown, Ind., with his wife and four children. He began his new duties with Duke Energy on May 16.

Clay Fritz will serve large business accounts in a newly drawn territory in Duke Energy Indiana's south region. Clay comes to Duke Energy with extensive sales and customer service experience in the electrical distribution industry, working for Brownstone Electric Supply for the past 17 years.

"Clay's leadership and experience interfacing directly with large, investor-owned utilities, wholesale and municipal customers throughout the country, combined with his knowledge of equipment, products and services critical to our industry, will be a valuable addition to our team and our customers," said McKillip.

Clay earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Southern Indiana. He lives in Vallonia, Ind., with his wife and four children. He begins his new post with Duke Energy on May 21.
