Bill Named After Indianapolis Child Heading To President Trump's Desk

Last updated on Wednesday, May 23, 2018

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - A bill named after a 9-year-old Hoosier is making its way to the president’s desk.

The Jordan McLinn and Matthew Bellina Right to Try Act is seeking President Trump's signature after being approved by the U.S. House of Representatives Monday.

The act would let terminally ill patients that have tried all approved treatment options begin trying other experimental drugs.

Jordan McLinn and his family are from Indianapolis, and have worked with Senator Joe Donnelly to get the bill to move forward.
