(FORT WAYNE) - Sweetwater proudly presents The Charlie Daniels Band live in concert on Saturday, October 6th at the Sweetwater Performance Pavilion located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Since the 1960s, Charlie Daniels has been performing with his band mates Charlie Hayward on bass, Bruce Brown on lead guitar, Ron Gannaway on drums, Chris Wormer on guitar and Shannon Wickline on keys. The Charlie Daniels band has redefined the southern rock music genre by combining southern gospel, country gospel and bluegrass.
With a philanthropic and patriotic heart, Charlie Daniels has donated his time to many causes including co-founding his own nonprofit helping veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Daniels parlays these themes of charity and patriotism through the band's music and lyrics. Because of the group's history and unique sound, The Charlie Daniel's Band has received multiple awards including two Grammys and five Country Music Awards.
