(STEUBEN CO.) - Friday morning at approximately 10:39 a.m., workers at the Trine State Recreation Area off of Feather Valley Road in Steuben County found what they believed to be a deceased human body.
They immediately contacted the Indiana Conservation Officers who, along with the Indiana State Police responded to the scene. An unidentified deceased male was located and it is unknown how long he had been there.
An autopsy has been scheduled for this morning, in order to determine a cause and manner of death.
This a joint investigation between the Indiana State Police and the Indiana Conservation Officers, with the assistance of the Steuben County Coroner's Office.
