Special Legislative Session Expected To Be One Day

Last updated on Wednesday, April 18, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A special session will bring lawmakers back to the Statehouse the week of May 14th.

Republican House Speaker Brian Bosma says the session will likely only be one day in length.

Governor Holcomb called lawmakers back after they failed to vote on a few tax bills and a school safety improvement bill during the regular session.

Only bills cleared for final votes are eligible to be considered during the special session.
