(PLAINFIELD) - Duke Energy has selected Melvin Morris as large-business account executive for the company’s central Indiana service territory which includes Hamilton, Marion, Hancock and Tipton counties, along with a portion of Madison County.

"Melvin will own and manage the total customer experience of some of our largest and most complex business customers in central Indiana," said Kristie McKillip, regional director of large account management. "His operational background as well as his business acumen will make him a great fit for our team and provide great value to our customers."

"I appreciate the opportunity to work with our large businesses," said Morris. "I look forward to aiding Duke Energy in its mission to power the lives of our customers and enhance the vitality of our communities."

Before joining the large account management team, Morris was a distribution engineer at Duke Energy's regional headquarters in Plainfield.
