(VIGO CO.) - A Vigo County woman is accused of stealing money from a local church and using the money to buy drugs.
Police arrested 42-year-old Heather Riggs for allegedly stealing more than $75,000 from Victory Christian Church in Seelyville.
According to court documents, a man by the name of Jordan Reed was arrested two weeks ago in a traffic stop for drug possession.
Reed told investigators that he was heading to sell heroin and pills to Riggs, and that she was going to pay him with the money she stole from the church.
