State Road 168 In Gibson County Closed Due To Cave In

(GIBSON CO.) - State Road 168, just east of Owensville in Gibson County, is closed due to a cave-in blamed on a pipe failure.

The highway is closed from US 41 to State Road 65.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area until further notice.

INDOT says work is underway to reopen the highway.

The cave-in follows the closure of State Road 65 between Owensville and State Road 64 this past weekend due to flood related damage.

Work continues to reopen that highway as well.
