Last updated on Monday, March 26, 2018

(UNDATED) - The Indiana Republican Party announced today a series of public hearings to be held in Central, Northern and Southern Indiana for the purpose of soliciting input from Hoosiers on its 2018 Party Platform.

The platform, which will be drafted based on testimony from these hearings, will be ratified at the Indiana Republican State Convention, scheduled to be held June 8-9 in Evansville.

Beth Boyce, 9th congressional district vice chairwoman for the Indiana Republican Party and chairwoman of the Johnson County Republican Party, and Indiana State Sen. Mike Crider will serve as co-chairs of the Platform Committee.

"The Indiana Republican Party is Indiana's one and only party of purpose," said Kyle Hupfer, chairman of the Indiana Republican Party. "We're the party of proven leadership and the party that's delivering real solutions to Indiana's biggest challenges. Our party platform and these hearings unite us as Republicans, bringing us all together under a set of people-focused principles that are making life better for all Hoosiers."

Hoosiers interested in providing input on the party platform can reserve a slot to speak during a platform committee hearing, or they can submit written testimony. To reserve a spot or to submit testimony, please contact platform@indiana.gop.
