(INDIANAPOLIS) - Gov. Eric Holcomb today announced Andrea R. Trevino as his appointment to the Allen County Superior Court, Family Relations Division. Judge Trevino will succeed Judge Daniel Heath, who retired last month.
Judge Trevino currently serves as magistrate judge in the Allen County Circuit Court. Prior to her appointment as magistrate in 2013, Judge Trevino was in private practice. As one of two Superior Court judges assigned to the Family Relations Division, Judge Trevino will have responsibility not only for juvenile and family-related cases, but also will oversee the Allen County Juvenile Center and its staff.
Judge Trevino received a Bachelor of Science from Saint Joseph's College and her law degree from Indiana University, Maurer School of Law. Judge Trevino will be sworn in on a date to be determined.
