(UNDATED) - It’s still winter and already a child has died in a hot car.
On Feb. 28th, a 1-year-old boy was left in his mother's vehicle while she was at work at a salon in Miami, FL. The boy died from heatstroke.
Last year, a total of 43 U.S. children died in preventable hot car tragedies and we want to significantly lower that number in 2018. KidsAndCars.org hopes you will join us early this year to help bring awareness to these unthinkable tragedies.
KidsAndCars.org believes the solution to these preventable tragedies is a combination of technology and education. The HOT CARS Act would require all vehicles to come with a driver reminder system to prevent hot car deaths.
