Gov. Holcomb Announces Judicial Appointment For Tippecanoe County Superior Court 5 Vacancy

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Gov. Eric J. Holcomb announced Kristen E. McVey as his appointment to the Tippecanoe County Superior Court 5. Ms. McVey will succeed Judge Sean Persin who was appointed as Circuit Court Judge and took office on January 1, 2018.

Kristen McVey currently serves as the chief deputy prosecutor in Tippecanoe County. Ms. McVey joined the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor's Office in 2002 following law school and has served as its chief deputy for the past 10 years. She also served two years (2005-2007) as chief deputy prosecutor in Carroll County. Ms. McVey received a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University and her law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.

Ms. McVey will be sworn in as the judge of Superior Court 5 on a date to be determined.
