Marshall County School Shooting, 2 Dead

(KENTUCKY) - Officials have confirmed that 2 are dead after a school shooting at Marshall County High School in Marshall County, Kentucky.

At 7:57 a.m. this morning the 15 year-old shooter armed with a hand gun shot 14 people.

At 7:59 a.m. the first 911 call was made.

Then at 8:06 a.m. first responders were on the scene. All this according to a local press conference held by Kentucky officials.

There was a total of 19 injuries. Of those 14 were gun shot wounds. Two students have died, one a 15 year-old female that died at the scene and one 15 year-old male that died at the nearest level 1 trauma center.

The investigation is on-going and is done by the Kentucky State Police and FBI.

Kentucky Governor, Matt Bevin, said at the conference, "Respect the fact that these children belong to this community... respect these families."
