Gov. Holcomb Makes Appointments To Various Boards & Commissions

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Governor Eric Holcomb announced several new appointments and reappointments to various state boards and commissions.

Indiana Civil Rights Commission

The governor made one new appointment to the Indiana Civil Rights Commission:

Rev. James Jackson (Indianapolis), pastor at Fervent Prayer Church, will join the commission. His term expires March 31, 2019.

Indiana Commission for Women

The governor made four reappointments to the Indiana Commission for Women:

Melissa Cotterill (Indianapolis), executive vice president at WestComm, will continue her service on the commission and will also chair the commission for 2018. Her term expires December 31, 2021.
Kori Chambers (Greenwood), associate general counsel with IU Health, will continue her service on the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2021.
Kayevonne Dailey (Ft. Wayne), executive director at Women's Health Link, will continue her service on the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2021.
Stephanie Moore (Newburgh), founder & CEO of Moore Matters, LLC, will continue her service on the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2021.

The governor also made three new appointments to the commission:

Molly Chavers (Indianapolis), executive director at IndyHub, will join the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2021.

Margaret Daniels (Zionsville), founder & CEO of Try It Tiny, will join the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2021.

Rachel Hoffmeyer (Indianapolis), digital communications director for Gov. Holcomb, will join the commission as the governor's designee. Her term expires December 31, 2020.

Indiana Finance Authority

The governor made one new appointment to the Indiana Finance Authority:

Rudy Yakym III (South Bend), senior vice president at Bradley Company, will join the authority. His term expires August 31, 2020.

Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission

The governor made one reappointment to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission:

Sarah Freeman (Indianapolis) will continue her service on the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2021.

Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants & Toddlers with Disabilities

The governor made the following 20 appointments to the Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants & Toddlers with Disabilities:

To a term ending December 31, 2018:

Barbara Blain (Indianapolis), director and owner of PediPlay LLC.
Karen Carradine (South Holland, Illinois), vice president of Geminus Corporation.
Sara Cummins (Fountaintown), development director with FUSE, administrative assistant with Borgmann Realty, and a First Steps parent.
Tammy Eblin (Lafayette), with FSSA.
Cathleen Nine-Altevogt (Carmel), attorney with the Indiana Department of Insurance.
Gary Parker (Indianapolis), CHIP & Hoosier Healthwise Director with FSSA.
Jason Stein (Ft. Wayne), with Zebra Technologies and a First Steps parent.
Kristian Wright (Greenwood), special education specialist with the Indiana Department of Education.

To a term ending December 31, 2019:

Thomas Fisher (Indianapolis), dean of the Vera Z. Dwyer College of Health Sciences at Indiana University South Bend.
Mariann Frigo (Portage), executive director at Jacob's Ladder Pediatric Rehabilitation Center.
Dorene Hoops (Indianapolis), First Steps parent.
Nicole Norvell (Fishers), director of the Office of Early Childhood & Out-of-School Learning.
Daniel O'Neill (Ft. Wayne), sales manager at Alliance Game Distributors and a First Steps parent.
Brittnee Smith (Kokomo), vice president with Bona Vista Programs, Inc.

To a term ending December 31, 2020:

Bethany Ecklor (Indianapolis), chief of youth services with the Division of Mental Health & Addiction.
Kelsey Harmer (Whitestown), a First Steps parent.
Stacy Holmes (Indianapolis), associate/LPCC director for ProKids, Inc.
Deepali Jani (Avon), McKinney-Vento Homeless Education State Coordinator with the Indiana Department of Education.
Jennifer Owens (Lanesville), director of family services at Blue River Services, Inc.
Shirley Payne (Indianapolis), children's special health care services division director with the Indiana State Department of Health.

Judicial Nominating Commission for the Allen Superior Court

The governor made one new appointment to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Allen Superior Court:

Benjamin Eisbart (Fort Wayne), retired former vice president of HR for Steel Dynamics, will join the commission. His term expires June 30, 2021.

Little Calumet River Basin Development Commission

The governor made four reappointments to the Little Calumet River Basin Development Commission:

William Baker (Munster), executive director of real estate for Urschel Laboratories, will continue his service on the commission. His term expires December 31, 2021.

Anthony Broadnax (Hammond), director of advisory services at KPMG LLP, will continue his service on the commission. His term expires December 31, 2021.

Thomas Gozdecki III (Highland), executive vice president at EMCOR Hyre Electric, will continue his service on the commission. His term expires December 31, 2021.

Thomas Wichlinski (Griffith), sales consultant at Home Depot, will continue his service on the commission. His term expires December 31, 2021.

The governor also made one new appointment to the commission:

Ronald Ware, Jr. (Munster), business manager for Ironworkers Local #395, will join the commission. His term expires December 31, 2021.

Midwest Radioactive Materials Transportation Committee (Council of State Governments) & U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (State Liaison)

The governor reappointed Laura Dresen (Indianapolis), radiation programs director for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, to the Council of State Governments' Midwest Radioactive Materials Transportation Committee as well as to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission as Indiana's state liaison.

Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District Board

The governor made one new appointment to the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District Board:

Kevin Kelly (Granger), president of Walsh & Kelly, Inc., will join the board. His term expires December 31, 2019.

State Board of Accounts

With the approval of the legislative council, the governor reappointed Paul Joyce (Avon) as state examiner. His term expires December 31, 2021.

The governor also reappointed Michael Bozymski (Greenfield) and Tammy White (Speedway) as deputy examiners. Their terms expire December 31, 2021.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services Commission

The governor made the following 19 appointments to the Vocational Rehabilitation Services Commission.

To a term ending June 30, 2018:

Dawn Adams (Anderson), executive director at Indiana Disability Rights.
Anthony Cross (Greenfield), veterans' service officer with the Department of IN-American Legion.
Christine Dahlberg (Indianapolis), executive director at the Governor's Council for People with Disabilities.
Nancy Davisson (Vincennes), operations director at the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
Tim Kirk (Vincennes), director of Dove Employment Services for KCARC.
Daniel Stewart (Greenwood), president & CEO of Achieva Resources Corp, Inc.
Stephen Yockey (Indianapolis), special education specialist with the Indiana Department of Education.

To a term ending June 30, 2019:

Kelsey Cowley (Avon), salesperson at Frazee Garden.
Steve Henderson (Elkhart), vocational rehabilitation counselor.
Eric Heeter, Sr. (Indianapolis), assistant deputy of adult mental health with FSSA.

To a term ending June 30, 2020:

Scott Beauchamp (Indianapolis), president & CEO of Indianapolis Yellow Cab, will continue his service on the commission.
James Michaels (Brownsburg), vice president of program services at Bosma Enterprises, will continue his service on the commission.
Karen Rusk (Brownsburg), regional program specialist and youth outreach coordinator for IN*SOURCE, will continue her service on the commission.
David Spradley (Carmel), research nurse with Indiana University.
Traci Taylor (Richmond), director of independent living services at The Independent Living Center of Eastern Indiana.
Benjamin Trockman (Evansville), diversity and inclusion outreach specialist with Old National Bank.
