Last updated on Friday, December 22, 2017

(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Police will be taking part in ‘Operation Care’ through January 3rd.

Operation C.A.R.E, or Combined Accident Reduction Effort, is a federally funded program that allows additional troopers to patrol Hoosier roadways looking for drivers who are driving aggressively or impaired.

The Triple A Motor Club predicts more than 107 million Americans, the most on record, will be traveling over this Christmas and New Year's Holiday period, with the majority traveling by automobile.
