(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced today that four new grantee partnerships will join the agency’s PACE (Partnering Arts, Community, and Education) initiative.
The new applicants were officially approved by the Commission during its recent quarterly business meeting December 8th in Noblesville, Indiana. The partnerships will each receive grants of up to $10,000 to fund their projects.

Each applicant will partner with an elementary school in their region to provide year-long arts and literacy learning experiences. Detailed descriptions of each new PACE partnership can be found here.
In the beginning of 2018, each new grantee will begin a planning phase with the school partner and in the fall will begin their student workshop experiences.
"We are very excited to have these four new partnerships join the PACE program," said Stephanie Haines, IAC Community Development Manager, Arts Education and Accessibility Coordinator.
About PACE: The PACE program was established in 2014 as a new initiative to promote arts education and impact student growth and achievement. PACE is intended to assist and enable elementary schools and artists / arts organizations in establishing long-term, in-depth, and sustainable partnerships. Arts experiences occur at regular intervals throughout the entire school year, align with the academic curriculum, and are integrated into classroom literacy activities.
