Thousands Of Voter Contacts Made In Indiana During The Republican National Committee's National Day of Action

Last updated on Wednesday, November 8, 2017

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Over the weekend, the RNC held its first National Day of Action this election cycle across the country, and in Indiana, the RNC team trained more than 100 new volunteers and more than 1,000 voter contacts were made.

In a joint effort with the Indiana Republican Party, organizers and staff teamed up to train volunteers on the Republican Leadership Initiative (RLI), who then put their new skills to work by contacting and engaging voters by knocking on doors.

"The RNC's first National Day of Action this cycle was a huge success over the weekend. By training over 100 new volunteers and knocking on over 1,000 doors across the state of Indiana, we're mobilizing early as we're exactly one year away from the midterm elections. Hoosiers are clearly fired up about tax reform, and our volunteers made that a top priority of voter engagement, as well as Mexico Joe Donnelly, who should be very nervous about re-election given the efforts of our field team and the data received from our voter contacts." says RNC Spokesperson Michael Joyce.
