Vincennes Man Facing Charges After Jumping From Bridge Into Wabash River

(VINCENNES) - Vincennes Police arrested a Vincennes man Monday afternoon after he jumped from the Lincoln Memorial Bridge into the Wabash River.

31-year-old Ryan Shreve injured his mouth when he jumped into the shallow river. The fire department's rescue boat had to be used to rescue Shreve.

Shreve was treated at the scene and then booked into the Knox County Jail on preliminary charges of criminal reckless, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

He is being held in the Knox County Jail on $3,000 bond.
