Last updated on Friday, September 22, 2017

(TIPTON CO.) - Spilled milk at an Indiana food processing plant turned a Tipton County creek white.

Tipton County Emergency Management officials posted pictures to Facebook showing the Cicero Creek running white.

About 300 gallons of milk spilled from the Park 100 Foods plant last week.

Various agencies responded to the spill.

About 14,000 gallons of a milk and water mixture were removed from the creek to help it return to its natural color.
