A Decade Of Federal Register Goes Digital

(WASHINGTON DC) - The Government Publishing Office said that 10 years’ worth of Federal Register editions published from 1980 to 1989 are now available at its website: govinfo.gov/app/collection/FR

The 1980s covers the administrations of Presidents Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush.

Since its 1936 inauguration, there have been 14,587 issues and nearly 2 million pages of the Federal Register, a daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of federal agencies, as well as executive orders and other presidential documents.
