Vincennes Police Asking For Public's Help In Pedestrian Hit And Run Accident

(VINCENNES) - Vincennes Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver of a vehicle involved in a pedestrian hit and run accident Wednesday night at Gregg Park.

The unidentified pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by what is described as an older model, possibly late 1990's, Jeep Wrangler, 2-door Green utility vehicle with stock equipment.

After hitting the pedestrian, the driver fled westbound on Niblack Boulevard and struck a street sign at the park's entrance in the process.

The Jeep may have damage to its turn signal or fender in the front.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or its driver is asked to contact Vincennes Police.
