(BROWNSBURG) - Police are searching for a man they believe shot two people outside a central Indiana distribution center and who may have fled with his three children.
Brownsburg police Capt. Jennifer Barrett says police believe 25-year-old Cristhian Garcia shot 22-year-old Alicia Canise Canizales and 26-year-old Jesus Huesca about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of a Home Goods distribution center.
She says Huesca was in critically condition at an Indianapolis hospital and Canizales was undergoing surgery.
Barrett says Garcia is a former Home Goods employee and police believe he shot the two victims as they arrived at the company's distribution center in Brownsburg, about 15 miles west of Indianapolis.
She says Garcia may be on the run with his three children with Canizales, all under age 10.
