Major League Eating To Host First-Ever Ice Cream Eating Championship At Indiana State Fair

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The world’s top competitive eaters will gather in Indianapolis for the first-ever World Ice Cream Eating Championship at the Indiana State Fair, which will take place at 2 pm on Sunday, August 13th, in front of the Indiana Farmers Coliseum during the Indiana State Fair.

Major League Eating is proud to add the World Ice Cream Eating Championship to its 2017 slate of sanctioned championships. The world's top eating talent will make the pilgrimage to Indianapolis to compete for the title of The World Ice Cream-Eating Champion of the world.

"Success will need to be earned at The World Ice Cream Eating Championship At The Indiana State Fair," says Major League Eating emcee Sam Barclay. "Hand speed will be key, capacity will be challenge--and every eater's ability to overcome brain freeze will be put to the ultimate test."

Number one ranked female competitive eater, Miki Sudo will make her way to Indiana in order to set a new world record in the ice cream-eating discipline. She will face tough competition against other top competitors, including, #12-ranked, Juan Rodriguez, #21-ranked, Derck Jacobs, #22-ranked, Brian Dudzinski and #24-ranked Sophia DeVita.
