Little Red Door Cancer Agency To Host Cancer Survivors Day At Indiana State Fair

(INDIANAPOLIS) - On Saturday, August 19 Little Red Door will host Cancer Survivors Day at the Indiana State Fair.

Cancer Survivors Day will be a day to celebrate survivorship and connect cancer survivors and caregivers with local resources.

Expected attendance on a Saturday at the Indiana State Fair is 75,000 people. LRD's Cancer Survivors Day will be the lone name sponsor for the State Fair on August 19 and will provide free tickets to cancer survivors interested in attending fair on that date. Survivors can claim a free ticket by visiting www.littlereddoor.org/survivor.

The celebration of survivorship will be centered around Survivors Lane. Located on the south side of the fairgrounds and the west side of the Events Center, Survivors Lane will be a full row of booths, displays and activities from Little Red Door and its partners dedicated to cancer prevention education, survivorship resources, and celebration. Survivors Lane will also include a public art project to honor survivorship which survivors, caregivers and all fairgoers will be invited to help create.
