(HAMMOND) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a fire that involved multiple boats at Hammond Marina.
Two boats were a total loss as a result of an explosion related to the fire.
Multiple agencies including Hammond Police Department, Hammond Fire Department, United States Coast Guard, Hammond Port Authority, Hammond Marina, and Tow Boat US all assisted at the scene.
At this time, there have been no injuries reported.
This case remains under investigation.
