(INDIANAPOLIS) - The American Legion 99th Annual Department Convention will be held at the Marriott East hotel in Indianapolis from July 12 - July 16, 2017.
This convention will host three general sessions where Legionnaires will honor our Hoosier Heroes with our annual "of the Year" awards, a prominent display by the USS Indiana, and several address from Indiana leaders including Gov. Eric Holcomb, Senator Joe Donnelly and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett.
New 2017-2018 Indiana Legion officers will be elected and installed.
A display of the USS Indiana will be on-site at the 2017 Department Convention to give you a "tiny" look at what the USS Indiana looks like. The USS Indiana nuclear attack submarine will provide the Navy with the capabilities required to maintain the nation's undersea supremacy well into the 21st century.
