Police Arrest Six In Armed Robbery That Went Bad

(VINCENNES) - Vincennes Police arrested two 18-year-olds and four juveniles Wednesday morning for the armed robbery of a man Tuesday night.

The robbery took place in the area of Washington Avenue and Emison.

18-year-old Braxton Ikemire of Bruceville, who was armed with a gun, was stabbed multiple times by his intended victim.

He was treated for his stab wounds at Good Samaritan Hospital and later arrested for robbery with a deadly weapon.

Also arrested for robbery with a deadly Weapon was 18-year-old Steven Chambers of Vincennes.

Both are being held on $25,000 bond in the Knox County Jail.
