(SANTA CLAUS) - Local auditions for Holiday World’s 2017 Halloween musical show are scheduled for Saturday morning at the theme park.
The "Lights Out!" musical show will be performed during Happy Halloween Weekends by family-friendly Halloween characters singing and dancing to popular hits, with lyrics altered to suit the spooky holiday.
Performers interested in auditioning should bring a one-page resume listing training and experience, and be prepared to sing a portion of both a ballad and an up-tempo song; MP3 and CD players will be provided. All performers are asked to bring dance attire, as a staff choreographer will teach a brief dance combination.
Holiday World's auditions will be held on Saturday, July 29, at 11am CDT, in the park's Training Room inside the Employee Services building; parking will be available in the Employee Parking Lot. To be eligible for hire, singer/dancers must be at least 16 years old by the start of rehearsals in August.
