Strategic Plan For Indiana Agriculture To Be Unveiled At Launch Event

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Agriculture is at the heart of Indiana’s 200 year-old history and future.

To support this critical industry for future generations, Indiana's agricultural leaders and community have joined together for the past 18 months to develop a 10-year strategic plan, which will be unveiled at an event on June 26.

The event will include presentations, panel discussions and speakers who will touch on the plan's strategic priorities, initiatives and actions to move the industry forward over the next decade.

What: Indiana Agriculture Strategic Plan Launch

Who: Representatives from Indiana's agricultural organizations, boards, universities, non-governmental and governmental organizations

When: June 26, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (EDT) Registration begins at 9:45 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon.

Where: Ritz Charles, 12156 North Meridian St., Carmel, IN 46032

The strategic plan was put together by a variety of industry partners, both private and public, working toward the goal of lifting up all of Indiana agriculture over the course of the next decade.
