(UNDATED) - For eight consecutive years, the Ivy Tech Foundation has ranked as the top fundraiser among community college systems nationwide, according to a survey conducted by the Council for Aid to Education.

The 2016 Voluntary Support for Education survey reported that Ivy Tech raised more than $18.6 million through the Ivy Tech Foundation, the college's fundraising arm, ranking it first among U.S. community colleges.

The amount of money raised exceeds the second place community college by 47 percent.

In the past ten years, Ivy Tech Foundation has raised more than $180 million in charitable contributions. With an annual student enrollment of more than 170,000, Ivy Tech is able to draw from a large network of donors and community supporters who recognize Ivy Tech's impact on Indiana's economy, workforce and community.
