First Annual Greater Evansville Ball Halls Of Fame Games Event Lineup

(EVANSVILLE) - The Greater Evansville Ball Halls of Fame is proud to announce an updated lineup card for the June 6, 2017 GEBHOF Halls of Fame Games. The event has added a Harmonica Workshop by Art the dude along with a Fireworks Finale presented by Stateline Fireworks.

Come out to Deaconess Sports Complex to support 34 local youth baseball/softball teams, enjoy numerous event activities, enjoy the display of fireworks, and much more.

"It's going to be a great night of baseball for local teams," Dave Barancik from Stateline Fireworks said. "The event will raise some money for the Greater Evansville Ball Halls of Fame and will include a lot of family entertainment."

The games will bring together thirty-two local Travel and Little League Baseball Teams and will take place from 4 PM to 10 PM at the Deaconess Sports Park on North Green River Road. There will be a lot of entertainment during the event, which including The Boom Squad performances, live music by Randy Pease, a Harmonica Workshop for children by Art the dude, an X-TREME Cheer and Dance performance, and a chance to meet local Semi-Pro football players from the Evansville Rangers football team.

Here is the official agenda for the evening:

The following names are the confirmed first pitches for the game: Greater Evansville Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2016 Announcer Mike Blake from WFIE Channel 14, Greater Evansville Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2016 Jeff Wolfe of Wolfe's Auto Auction, former LA Dodgers World Series Champion Steve Schroer, Vanderburgh County Commissioner Ben Shoulders, Greater Evansville Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2016 Coach Paul Gries, Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding, and the Owner of the Evansville Otters Bill Bussing.

HARMONICA WORKSHOP DETAILS

At 7 PM, Art the dude will be giving a free harmonica workshop to (up to 50) children. Participating children will receive a free Hohner harmonica and learn how to play the instrument. There will be an emphasis on learning the song: "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." After the workshop and sometime during the event, Art the dude will bring the kids onto the field to perform "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" and will accompany them on guitar and harmonica.
