Last updated on Monday, May 8, 2017

(WARRICK CO.) - The Evansville Courier & Press reports the affidavit of probable cause has been released in a Warrick County murder case.

It says 22-year-old Isaiah Hagan owed money to his father for a student loan in collection and the owed money may have played a role in the shooting death of 20-year-old Halee Rathgeber of Evansville.

The court document also says Hagan owed Rathgeber $600 and that he had been investigated for theft by the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office in a separate case in which charges were expected to be filed.

Hagan is facing charges of murder, felony murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and obstruction of justice.
