Three People Charges In Double Homicide In Scott County

(SCOTT CO.) - Scott County Sheriff Dan McClain announces that three people have been charged with the shooting deaths of 45-year-old Michele Brewer and 51-year-old Jesse Bowling.

The double homicide occurred on March 27, 2016. Family members found the two dead in a mobile home on State Road 356 in Lexington, Indiana. Both had been shot multiple times.

Sheriff McClain says that detectives with the Scott County Sheriff's Office with the assistance from Indiana State Police detectives recently presented their findings of the yearlong investigation to the Scott County Prosecutor's Office which has resulted in numerous counts of murder and conspiracy to commit murder charges being filed.

Charged in connection with the homicides are; 57-year-old Roger McIntosh of Crothersville, 54-year-old Phillip McIntosh and 52-year-old David McIntosh, both of North Vernon.

Roger and Phillip McIntosh were both charged with two counts of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and obstruction of justice. The prosecution filed notice to seek life without the possibility of parole for both men.

David McIntosh was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. He is currently incarcerated in the Indiana Department of Corrections serving an unrelated prison sentence.

Phillip and David McIntosh are both currently incarcerated in the Scott County Jail and are both being held without bond.
