Target Corp. Set To Pay Out Millions After Data Breach

(UNDATED) - Target Corporation is set to pay out millions of dollars as part of a settlement over a 2013 data breach.

The company announced yesterday it will shell out $18.5 million as part of a settlement that compromised credit and debit card information for tens of millions of customers.

Of that amount, Indiana will receive $623,000.

As part of the settlement, Target is required to implement a "comprehensive information security program."
