Robotics Teams from Russiaville, Indianapolis, and Brownsburg Win Indiana State Championship

(HUNTINGTON) - Robotics Teams from Russiaville, Indianapolis, and Brownsburg win Indiana State Championship at Huntington North High School in Huntington.

Number five seeded alliance knocks off number seven seeded alliance for the win. Robotics team 292 - PantherTech from Russiaville, Indiana, robotics team 829 - Digital Goats from Indianapolis, Indiana, and team 3176 - Purple Precision from Brownsburg, Indiana have emerged as champions from the Indiana State Championship. In order to win, these teams were required to face 32 other teams from across Indiana in a series of qualification matches. The stellar performance put up by team 292 - PantherTech from Russiaville, Indiana put them as captain of the number five seeded alliance. From this position they picked team 829 - Digital Goats from Indianapolis, Indiana and team 3176 - Purple Precision from Brownsburg, Indiana as alliance partners.

These teams' successful performance put them on track to move on to the world championship. Other top teams in the state will qualify for the FIRST Championship in St. Louis, MO in late April.

When the opening quarterfinal match hits a near all time high score of 450 points and it's a tie everyone knew this Indiana State Championship Robotics Competition was going to be an event to remember!
