(NEW YORK) - A potential for engine fire is prompting Ford to issue safety recalls on several of its models. The automaker issued a recall on 230,000 of its vehicles.
The 2014 Escape, 2013 and 2014 Ford Fusion and Fiesta ST and 2013 to 2015 Ford Transit Connect are the models impacted by this recall.
Ford said a lack of coolant circulation in the engine can lead to cracked cylinder heads prompting oil to leak and possibly lead to an engine fire.
The automaker also issued a recall because of door-latch issues on 2014 Fiestas, 2013 to 2014 Lincoln MKZ's and 2013-2014 Fusions.
