(INDIANAPOLIS) - Pre-K education is paramount for taking Indiana to the Next Level. For low-income students, pre-kindergarten provides the increased support and attention that can make a difference in their academic and social success for years down the road.
This investment will build a diverse and well-educated workforce. Multiple studies conducted by economists from around the country report anywhere from a $4-1 to a $12-1 return on investment in high-quality early childhood education programs. Our state has the ability to continue this forward momentum and build upon the pilot program that we have, On My Way Pre-K and at least double it.
